Do your little girls keep taking off Barbie’s clothes and leaving them all naked? My granddaughters do! For some reason, this bothers me. Especially the Ken doll!!!
It is an innocent thing that most all Barbie playing, little girls do. Maybe it is too much trouble for them to put the clothes back on. I don’t know, but the older I get, the more it drives me nuts.
This weekend while my granddaughters were swimming with their “Naked Barbies” I asked them where their swimming suits were? They each very nonchalantly said they were at home. They didn’t even notice they were naked?!?
I am always complaining to them to please dress your Barbies and not leave the naked, to no avail. So I decided to fix the problem 🙂 hehe
Paint swimming suits on them!
Hey, I’m no artist, but this makes me feel better! I just used some acrylic paint, but I will probably regret not using an oil base paint. Anyways, I am happy, and they won’t notice the unprofessional paint job!!!
UPDATE: The acrylic paint did start to peel off in the pool water. A friend told me about a much easier way, and I found it to be a much easier way and it stays on….Sharpies! I have a bag of colored sharpies and tried it. It dries instantly and stays on!

Debra, That’s a great idea to make a party of it. If you are like me, even though I am a grandmother, I still have at least a dozen dolls to paint! Thank you for your comment!
LOve this idea grabbing the paint for a paint party asap!
I am sure others have thought of it before me. But hey it works 🙂
Ha! I’ve just seen this on Twitter! That’s a great idea!
