Do the people in your life thank you for all that you do? Of course not, especially if you have children or teens. But, does that mean that they are not thankful for you? I would say that is very doubtful.
In today’s times we are more forgetful when it comes to thanking the people in our life. We might send a “ty” text, but do we really show the people we love how much we appreciate them?
This Thanksgiving, let’s make it a point to look around the room at our friends and family and thank them for the ways that they have impacted our life. If you make time to thank those that you love, or even a total stranger, you could actually change someones life.
It doesn’t have to be a big speech, that is toasted over the turkey, it’s the small things that matter the most. Such as; “thank you for helping with the cooking, ” thank you for coming, I’ve missed you.” No matter how small, tell those around you how much you care about them and how they have helped you. It will promote conversation and everyone will start to remissness.
Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!!!
